Faculty artist Du Yun, composition, received the BraVo Award for Best Classical Composition in Modern Performance on March 19. The award ceremony was hosted in Moscow, and was the second ceremony of the International Professional Music Awards or “BraVo.” At the ceremony, the Bolshoi Theater Orchestra performed an excerpt of her piece alongside other big names in classical music.
