Celeste Johnson performed in Carnegie Hall’s International 2020 SongStudio workshop,

Celeste Johnson (MM ’14, Vocal Accompanying), a 2019 Young Artist with Opera Saratoga, performed in January as one of 10 collaborative pianists selected for Carnegie Hall’s International 2020 SongStudio workshop, led by the world-renowned soprano Renee Fleming. Johnson’s selection marks the second year in a row that a Peabody vocal accompanying alumnus has been chosen for this prestigious program. Peyson Moss (MM ’16, Vocal Accompanying) was selected in 2019. Johnson will be a resident artist with Minnesota Opera for its 2020-21 season.
