A performance and interview with Washington Garcia (MM ’98, DMA ’03, Piano) aired on July 22 and 25 on KVNO 90.7, the classical radio station in Omaha, Nebraska. The station aired Garcia’s solo performance of the third movement of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Peabody Symphony Orchestra, led Hajime Teri Murai, from November 2001 as part of his first prize at Peabody’s Harrison Winter Piano Competition.
