Faculty artists Susan Weiss, musicology, and John Moran, historical performance, and Paula Maust (MM ’16, Harpsichord) gave presentations at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music Historical Performance Conference. Weiss presented “The Archeology of Music Instruments: toward a new pedagogy for organology” and Moran presented “Have We Entered a Post-HIP Era, and Does it Matter” on January 29, 2021. Maust’s gave her presentation “‘Scarcely one of them without a defect:’ Imagined Beauty in the Eighteenth-Century Ospedale della Pietà” on January 31, 2021.
