Assistant Professor of Composition Felipe Lara is a Visiting Composer at the Banff Centre and Composition faculty at the Valencia International Performance Academy and Festival (VIPA). Lara is a part of the Banff Centre’s Evolution Quartet, where the Parker Quartet will premiere Sonare for string quartet. Lara will lead composition workshops for students apart of the 2022 VIPA Composition Program.
