Peabody Presents at the UPCEA Regional Conference

UPCEAOn October 11 and 12, Peabody faculty and staff presented at the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) regional conference in Philadelphia, PA.

Zane Forshee (MM ’01, GPD ’03, DMA ’11, Guitar), Director of LAUNCHPad and Distinguished Chair of Professional Studies; Kathleen DeLaurenti, Director of the Arthur Friedheim Library; Joseph Montcalmo, Director of Learning Innovation; and Valerie Hartman, Senior Instructional Designer in Learning Innovation presented “Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: A Collaborative Approach to Developing High-quality Open Education Resources (OER),” which explored Peabody’s approach to developing and launching the Path to Funding Open Education Resource and provided a blueprint for other organizations to create OER.

Forshee, Montcalmo, Hartman, and Christina Manceor, LAUNCHPad’s Assistant Director, presented “”Scaling Career Services and Creative Agency through Blended Learning in Arts Higher Education”, which detailed Peabody’s collaborative, blended-learning approach to career services.
