The Culture: Hip Hop and Contemporary Art in the 21st Century exhibition opens April 5 at the Baltimore Museum of Art, a collaboration between the BMA and Saint Louis Art Museum curated by both museums and advised by a committee including Hip-Hop Education Center founder/president Martha Diaz, rapper/activist Tef Poe, anthropologist and Afro-Atlantic Histories curator Hélio Menezes, National Museum of African American History and Culture public historian Timothy Anne Burnside, and Peabody professor Wendel Patrick.
