Joseph Young (AD ’09, Conducting), Peabody’s Ruth Blaustein Rosenberg Artistic Director of Ensembles, will make his Carnegie Hall debut leading the National Youth Ensemble 2 on July 15, 2023. The ensemble then travels to the Dominican Republic on its first international tour for two performances on July 17 and 18 at the Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito and Gran Teatro del Cibao, respectively. The program for these concerts will feature works by Leonard Bernstein, Jean Sibelius, and Sergei Prokofiev.
