Diana Cantrelle McKinney (MM ’12, Voice, Pedagogy) developed a show and recorded a CD release titled Celtic Migration – Journeys Home. The show and recording take the audience on a journey of exploration of great Celtic Music into American Folk where the music further developed as more people migrated to the United States. It features her original composition “Yearnings of the Heart” for violin and Celtic Drum. The new release can be found on Amazon, Spotify, YouTube Music, Pandora and other streaming platforms. Aejin Kim (MM, GPD ’17, Vocal Accompanying) was the concert pianist for the show and recording.
