Doctoral conducting candidate Chi-Yuan Lin and Hae Lee (MM ’23, Orchestral Conducting) were two of six conductors chosen to attend the LEAD! Foundation Academy Masterclass and Mentorship Programme for Young Conductors, founded by Maestro Jukka-Pekka Saraste. The mentors in the program included Esa-Pekka Salonen, Dalia Stasevska, James Gaffigan, Magnus Lindberg, and Klaidi Sahatci. After the masterclasses, Hae was selected to conduct with Salonen, Gaffigan, and Saraste in the final concert of the Fiskars Summer Festival in Finland on August 6, 2023.
