Faculty artist Margaret Schedel (MM ’01, Computer Music Composition) is part of a Stony Brook University team that “recently won an Institute for Advanced Computational Science Seed Grant to investigate the major drivers of creativity in music and language using a combination of simulations and online experiments with real human participants. She has also won an OVPR Seed Grant as part of a team project titled ‘Engineering Gait Rehabilitation in Parkinson’s Disease through Music and AI.’”
