This May, Haley Olson (MM ’18, Composition) received her Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition from the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theatre & Dance. Prior to attending SMTD, Haley was American Composers Forum’s Manager of Artist Services from 2018-2022. Her dissertation, a composition for solo viola and chamber orchestra, will be premiered in Ann Arbor next year.
