From a pool of 278 applicants, Daniel Reza Sabzghabaei (MM ’17, Composition) was selected as a Composer Fellow for the Susan and Ford Schumann Center for Composition Studies at the Aspen Music Festival & School. As part of the Fellowship, Daniel will complete three new commissions for Aspen Conducting Academy Orchestra, the Aspen Contemporary Ensemble, and Aspen Opera Theater and VocalARTS program. He will be in residence in Aspen from July 24 – August 23.
