The Metropolitan Opera will present composition faculty artist Kevin Puts’ Silent Night from March 8 to April 3, 2027. This Pulitzer Prize–winning debut opera was inspired by the true events of the 1914 Christmas truce. Kevin Puts returns to the acclaimed opera house following his company debut with The Hours, which had its Metropolitan Opera debut in 2022.
