Spacious Skies: A Choral Symphony, a work themed around America’s national parks and composed by Scott Gendel with a libretto by Caitlin Vincent (MM ’09, Voice), was commissioned by the Madison Symphony Orchestra to celebrate its 100 birthday. It will receive its world premiere April 9, 10, and 11, 2027 in Madison.
