Peter Thoresen (MM ’05, Voice) serves on the voice faculty of the Pace University Musical Theater BFA program in New York, NY, where he also maintains a thriving private voice studio, Peter Thoresen Vocal Studio. His students appear on Broadway, in national tours, and concert venues worldwide. He’s also the music director of Broadway Star Project in NYC. Peter is the author of the popular Column ‘Crossover Corner’ featured in Classical Singer Magazine, for whom he’s written features and cover stories since 2014. In 2025, he earned the Certified Professional Coach credential, launching Peter Thoresen Life Coaching as an additional way to help people thrive in the arts and beyond. In June, 2025, he married John Haas in a small ceremony at City Hall in NYC.
