“I found so much value and inspiration in those master classes and lessons,” Gardner says of her time as a graduate student while encouraging students to think expansively about what it means to build a creative life shaped by imagination, adaptability, and a commitment to artistic sustainability. “Now I do my best to provide the same for current students. I think it’s important to share as honestly and transparently as possible so students can move forward in their careers with clarity and confidence.”
