The Peabody Conservatory’s graduating classes of 2022 celebrated in a pair of ceremonies May 25 in the Miriam A. Friedberg Concert Hall. Esteemed jazz legend Herbie Hancock received the 2022 George Peabody Medal and addressed the graduates, and Joel Puckett, Associate Professor and Chair of Music Theory, Ear-Training, and Keyboard Skills, received the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association Excellence in Teaching Award.
