Michael Kurth (BM ’93, Double Bass), a member of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, was invited by ASO Music Director Robert Spano to compose one of 10 celebratory fanfares to mark Spano’s decade with the orchestra. The piece, May Cause Dizziness, Kurth’s first work for full orchestra, was premiered by the ASO on Mar. 31.
