Joann Moorer (MM ’11) received a Peabody Career Development Grant to attend the Crittenden Summer Opera Workshop in Washington, D.C., and will perform scenes as Leonora (Il trovatore), The Marschallin (Der Rosenkavalier) and Beatrice (Le donne curiose) July 15, 16 and 17 at the Landon School in Bethesda, Md. Moorer also appeared in Bel Cantanti Opera‘s production of Romeo et Juliette (Gounod) as a member of the chorus.
