Young-Ah Tak invited to perform recital at the Steinway Spotlight Performance series

Young-Ah Tak, a Doctor of Musicial Arts candidate studying with Leon Fleisher, was invited to perform a solo recital at the inaugural Steinway Spotlight Performance series at Immaculata University in Immaculata, Penn., on Feb. 2, where she also gave a master class.

Music Festival founded by Julian Gargiulo keeps growing

Founded by Julian Gargiulo (MM ’97, Piano), the 8th Water Island Music Festival was held Feb. 8-10 in the Virgin Islands. The festival featured ten other musicians, including faculty artists Boris Slutsky, piano, and Joe Burgstaller, trumpet.
