Kathryn Ananda-Owens (MM ’93, DMA ’98, Piano) was elected to a second term on the board of directors of the Performing Arts Medicine Association, an international organization of medical and other health care professionals, arts educators, and administrators, dedicated to the health of performing artists. She is among the first arts educators elected to serve in this capacity. Ananda-Owens also recently presented her research and thoughts on forging concerto cadenzas in the style of Mozart to the graduate piano seminar at the Juilliard School, and at the College Music Society’s 2013 international conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
