Dreams of the Fallen, a composition by Jake Runestad (MM ’11, Composition), received its world premiere on November 11 at the National World War II Museum in Louisiana. The piece is a setting of poems by an Army veteran about the war in Iraq. A video of the premiere and the article, “Jake Runestad’s ‘Dreams of the Fallen’ is the latest addition to classical war music,” is published at The Hub. The piece is also featured in a Symphony Magazine article, “Post- Traumatic Soundscapes.”
