On February 25, Innova Recordings will release faculty member Michael Hersch’s (BM ’95, MM ’97, Composition) Images from a Closed Ward, performed by the Blair String Quartet. The quartet, artists in residence at Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music in Tennessee, gave the first performances of the piece in 2012.
