The 17th Annual Graduate Students in Music Conference, hosted by the Music Department of The Graduate Center, CUNY, will be held March 14-15 in New York City. The theme for this year’s conference is “Music and Normativity.” In addition to traditional paper sessions and lecture recitals, the conference will include a workshop for participants and conference attendees led by Kendra Preston Leonard (BM ’95, Cello) entitled “Scoring Disability Narratives.” Visit the conference website for the full schedule, workshop details, information about the presenters, and presentation abstracts.
