DMA candidate Chen Zhangyi (MM ’11, Composition) received the Paul Abisheganaden Grant for Artistic Excellence from the National University of Singapore. The award of 10,000 Singapore dollars will fund his attendance at a course on contemporary music in Paris, sponsored by the Eastman School of Music and the Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique, this summer.
