GPD candidate Tammie Woods, voice student of Denyce Graves, will be joining the chorus in the Lyric Opera of Chicago’s revival of Porgy and Bess. Resident opera stage director Garnett Bruce is part of the staging staff for the production. Woods and Bruce were both involved in the original 2009 production in San Francisco, which has just been released on DVD.
