Faculty artist Markand Thakar will be guest conducting with the Lousiana Philharmonic Orchestra on November 21. The concert features internationally-acclaimed cellist David Finckel on Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C major, Respighi’s The Birds and Mozart’s Great G minor Symphony. Thakar is music director of the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra and co-director of Graduate Conducting at the Peabody Conservatory.
