Faculty artist Amit Peled performed the Haydn Concerto in C Major for Cello, Hob. VIIb/1 arranged for seven cellos. Peled played with six of his students who performed the Douglas Moore’s orchestral reduction. The performance was in May 2014 for the Spencerville Evensong Concert Series in Silver Spring, Maryland. Student performers were Andrea Casarrubios (BM ’11, Cello), Jacques-Pierre Malan (GPD ’12, Cello; GPD ’13, Chamber Music), Yotam Baruch (MM ’07, Cello), Javier Iglesias Martin (BM ’14, Cello), sophomore Jan Fuller, and Jong Bin Kim (MM ’09, Cello).
