Former music theory faculty member Elam Ray Sprenkle (BM ’70, MM ’71, DMA ’79, Composition) has two compositions on the Annapolis Brass Quintet’s new CD Forever—is Composed of Nows. Sprenkle’s “Three Fanfares” opens the CD, while “Six Songs,” his setting of six poems of Emily Dickinson for mezzo-soprano and brass quintet, closes the CD.
