Hideaki Hirai (MM ’96, Conducting) will conduct the first concert of the New York Festival Orchestra’s inaugural season to be held on March 5, 2015 at Merkin Concert Hall with a program featuring “mostly Beethoven.’ Under Hirai, the orchestra debuted at Carnegie Hall in December of 2013.
