Peabody Community Responds to Baltimore Unrest

Three media stories featured responses from Peabody Community about the Baltimore unrest the week of April 27:

Rise, a new work by Judah Adashi (MM ’02, DMA ’11, Composition), has been released. All proceeds go directly to the family of Freddie Gray, and will be used to cover medical and burial costs. The composition was featured in this story, ‘Rise’ music to help Baltimore heal Song dedicated to Freddie Gray, on WBAL.

Freshman Osi Atikpoh and Baltimore School for the Arts seniors and OrchKids interns Jahi Alexander and Mateen Milan talk to WYPR’s Sheila Cast in Young Musicians Reflect On Last Week’s Unrest.
