Alumni represent at Yale School of Music Symposium on Music in Schools

The Yale School of Music selected 38 participants for the fifth Symposium on Music in Schools, which took place June 4–7. Each organization received the Yale University Distinguished Educator Award, including the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s OrchKids program, represented by Dan Trahey (BM ’00, Tuba, Music Education), and the Portland Symphony Orchestra’s PSO Musical Explorers program in Maine, represented by Norman Huynh (MM ’13, Conducting). They participated in three days of strategic sessions at the Symposium.
