Stone Mason Projects, a boutique production company overseeing projects related to new music for voice, was launched by Ms. Stein, who was recently featured in IVY Magazine for her work as a composer, performer, educator and more. Her organization Your Music Bus, co-founded with composers Lisa Bielawa and Aaron Jay Kernis, recently enjoyed its west coast debut with a visit to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, sponsored by education startup Trade Ink. This past summer, she performed in the premiere of Lesley Flanigan’s Voices for Speakers and as the soprano soloist in the premiere of composer and violist Eric Lemmon’s latest work, The Impossible Will Take a Little While, for four voices and orchestra with the Highline Chamber Ensemble at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music.
