Faculty artist Michael Hersch’s opera, On the Threshold of Winter, was featured in Nashville Scene in anticipation of the October 30 performance at Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music in Nashville, Tennessee. “His music is full of contrasts between moments of explosive energy and stillness.
