On Sunday, November 8, soprano Kisma Jordan (GPD ’12, Opera), student of Stanley Cornett, won first place in the fifth annual Opera Theatre of Pittsburgh Mildred Miller International Vocal Competition. In addition to the monetary prize, Ms. Jordan was awarded a leading role with the opera company next season.
