Jiaoyang Xu Invited to Attend 2016 Piatigorsky International Cello Festival as Fellow

Jiaoyang Xu, student of Amit Peled, has been invited to attend the 2016 Piatigorsky International Cello Festival as a fellow. In addition to participating in master classes and workshops with festival artists, Ms. Xu will be part of the mass cello ensemble – consisting of over 100 cellists – performing at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Tuesday, May 17, 2016. The festival is presented by the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music and the Los Angeles Philharmonic in partnership with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra on May 13-22.
