“Street Scene” Featured in The Baltimore Sun and the Johns Hopkins HUB

Peabody’s production of Kurt Weill’s Street Scene was featured in The Baltimore Sun in a review by classical music critic Tim Smith.  “The Peabody Symphony Orchestra … maintained admirable technical polish and expressive force all night under the sensitive guidance of conductor Steven White,” wrote Mr. Smith, with additional praise for “Rebecca Elizabeth Wood’s lyrical passion as Rose; Michael Dodge’s eloquent phrasing of “Lonely House” … ; Shayna Jones’ rich-voiced Anna; Fitzgerald St. Louis’ smooth styling as Henry; and Andreas Moffett’s firm, bright vocalism as cheery Mr. Fiorentino.” Read the full review here.
