UrbanArias production of Tom Cipullo’s Josephine at the Atlas Performing Arts Center on Sunday, April 3 received a review in The Washington Post titled “UrbanArias visits Baker, Stein and Picasso in Paris, and beyond.” Melissa Wimbish (GPD ’11, Voice; GPD ’14, Chamber Music) sang the role of Josephine Baker. “Beautifully prepared, vocally stunning, and theatrically riveting, Wimbish effortlessly held the audience in her hand throughout this one-woman show.
