Michael Hersch Premieres Two Works in New York

pic_NRD_052812_herschTwo new chamber works by faculty artist Michael Hersch (BM ’95, MM ’97, Composition) will be premiered in New York in June. Soprano and faculty artist Ah Young Hong (BM ’98, MM ’01, Voice) will perform his song cycle a breath upwards at Manhattan’s Saint Peter’s Church on June 10, and violinist Carolyn Huebl and pianist Mark Wait will perform Zwischen Leben und Tod: twenty-two pieces after images by Peter Weiss in a full multimedia presentation at National Sawdust in Brooklyn on June 28.
