Faculty member Dan Trahey (BM ’00, Tuba, Music Education), who serves as artistic director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s OrchKids program, spoke at Congress on May 23 about the role of arts in a complete education. He led a small interactive performance with a some students from the Peabody Preparatory and the OrchKids program that also featured a few members of Congress in the percussion ensemble.
