Teng Chen is Audio Director of Atlantic Music Festival

261492c2-8a8d-4ef0-96e9-b4f8845d1c43Recording arts and piano student Teng Chen will be the audio director of the Atlantic Music Festival in Maine from June 27 to July 24. Her duty at the festival includes leading the audio team in audio and video recordings of all the festival events. Ms. Chen is a freelance audio engineer located in Baltimore, Maryland, who has worked with musicians including Yo-Yo Ma, Emanuel Ax, Joshua Bell, Jeremy Denk, Vijay Iyer, and Billy Hart. She spent past summers at the Tanglewood Music Center (with the Boston Symphony Orchestra), the Banff Centre, Spoleto USA, and the Brevard Music Center working as an audio engineer under the supervision of engineers such as Shawn Murphy, Tim Martyn, and Theresa Leonard. Ms. Chen will graduate this year with dual bachelor’s degrees in piano performance and recording arts and sciences, as well as a master’s degree in audio sciences with a concentration in acoustics.
