Erik Meyer Won Awards for Three Compositions

Erik Meyer (BM ’02, MM ’04, Organ) recently won awards for his compositions: Lydian Suite for flute and organ won the 2015 Twin Cities American Guild of Organists composition competition; anthem Praise won the Presbyterian Association of Musicians 2015 composition competition; Philadelphia Overture for band won the FredBrass 2016 composition competition. He also started a blog, fineartoflistening.com, which seeks to introduce art music to new audiences through short, often humorous, posts.
