Jazz percussion faculty artist Nasar Abadey was featured in an article in the Washington Post by Chris Edwards. Abadey comments on the transaction between learning and teaching, stating, “I encourage my students to come out and hear me perform to make sure what I’m telling them isn’t some abstract thing I’m not doing myself.” Abadey’s group Supernova performed at Blues Alley in Baltimore, Md on Oct. 12.
