Susan Weiss Gives Presentation For the Opening of the Walters Museum Exhibition on Senses

weisswalterspresentationMusicology faculty member Susan Weiss gave a talk as a part of the Walters Art Museum’s The Senses in Medieval Culture Symposium in honor of the opening of the exhibition: A Feast for the Senses, Art and Experience in Medieval Europe, on Oct. 16. Dr. Weiss was accompanied by alumnus Aik Shin Tan (BM ’14, GPD ’16, Early Music), current second year student Sarah Lynn, current masters student Theodore Cheek, and Jeffery Grabelle. On Oct. 6-7,  Dr. Weiss chaired two sessions of The Making of Humanities V at Johns Hopkins University. On Dec. 7, she will give a reading of her book A Cole Porter Companion at Bird in Hand bookstore and cafe. She will give an additional reading of her book on March 15 as a part of The House Beautiful Lecture Series at Evergreen Museum and Library.
