Joe Buono (BM ’13, MM ’15, Bass Trombone) has been commissioned by a consortium to write a piece for solo trombone and piano. The consortium includes members of orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera, and Atlanta Symphony. The piece will be premiered at the Arkansas Trombone Workshop on February 25 by Dr. Cory Mixdorf.
