New Thread Quartet Featured at the North American Saxophone Alliance Region 8 Conference

Zach Herchen (BM ’07, MM ’09, Saxophone; BM ’06, Recording Arts) was a featured guest artist with his ensemble New Thread Quartet at the North American Saxophone Alliance Region 8 Conference at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts on March 10 and 11. New Thread Quartet presented a master class on contemporary performance practice, a panel discussion on ensemble management, and performed in a recital. Other guest artists of the conference included Ken Radnofsky of New England Conservatory and Ron Blake of the SNL Band.
