Megan Ihnen (MM ’09, Voice) presented Placemaking with New Music: It takes a village to make music; it takes music to make a village at the New Music Gathering 2017 conference on Thursday, May 11 in Bowling Green, Ohio. Ms. Ihnen’s workshop and presentation seeks to help participants identify ways in which they actively contribute to the community through their art practices and how their communities can come to see their work as part of the collective identity.
