Katie Smirnova (BM, MM ’11, Violin) is the co-founder and artistic director of Rushmore Music Festival in Spearfish, S.D. Other Peabody alumni involved in the festival include-William Kass (’15, Cello), Charlene Kluegel (MM ’11, GPD ’12, Violin), and Ismar Gomes (BM ’09, MM ’11 Cello). The program, which runs July 1-16, is open to intermediate to advanced students in piano, violin, viola, cello, and composition.
