Now Hear This to Play Kennedy Center in March

Peabody’s Now Hear This, led by Artistic Director Courtney Orlando, will play at the Kennedy Center on Thursday, March 8 at 6:00 pm on the Millennium Stage. This performance is a part of a two-week long festival, DIRECT CURRENT, which aims to showcase art new to Washington, including music, poetry, and many interdisciplinary projects. This is the festival’s inaugural season and runs from March 5-19. Music by Peabody alumni Viet Cuong (BM ’11, MM ’12, Composition) will be featured and Jenny Lin (KSAS BA ’94, German; AD ’98, Piano) will play in a concert also during the festival.
